I publish notes weekly around my column but also tidbits about where I make my life delicious and give myself permission and also where I find life to sometimes be troubling torment.
Notes is a space on Substack for our permission community to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I use it for ideas, thoughts, ruminations that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions. But I also use it to announce to the greater community that I have a column that I think they would enjoy.
For example, here is a link with a quote from one of my columns on the “sandwich generation.”
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Give Yourself Permission , you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Give Yourself Permission can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
